Lady Jennie Younger

Lady
Jennie Younger is the Head of Global Marketing for Deutsche Bank. In 2004 she
won the European Women of Achievement Award for Business.
Previously, Lady Younger served as Senior vice president, Investor relations,
GlaxoSmithKline plc since January 2001. She joined Glaxo Wellcome as Director
of investor relations in October 1996, and she served as head of investor
relations for British Gas plc from 1993.
Lady Younger gained considerable experience in the financial markets for
nearly ten years before moving into industry. Jennie worked for Grieveson
Grant, stockbrokers in 1984 as a graduate trainee, which was subsequently
taken over by the investment bank Kleinwort Benson. She became established as
an investment analyst, specialising in the transport sector and in particular
the privatisation of British Airways and BAA. She later joined stockbrokers
Barclays de Zoete Wedd in 1989 where she established their research capability
into transport companies and was highly ranked as an investment analyst.
Jennie Younger graduated from
Exeter
University
, where she gained an honours degree in psychology. She became an honorary
life member of the National College of Music in 2006
